SOC 2 is the standard of the AICPA that is widely considered the benchmark for trust in the cloud industry. The current report covers the period from August 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024, and will be repeated on an annual basis going forward. WorkPacks successfully completed its SOC 2 Type 1 audit in 2023, adding to our platform’s already robust security and privacy guarantees. The completion of our Type 2 report demonstrates WorkPacks’ continued commitment to operate with the highest degree of care and security when it comes to the management of sensitive data. The audit attests that WorkPacks’ “service commitments and system requirements were achieved based on the trust services criteria relevant to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.” While a SOC 2 Type 1 attestation reports on an organization’s security controls at a specific point in time, SOC 2 Type 2 covers a continuous period of time, making it more comprehensive and difficult to achieve.
