ROBERT BLACKMON

Chief Operating Officer

Robert is the Chief Operations Officer at WorkPacks, where he oversees all day-to-day operations of the company and ensures on-time and on-budget project execution for our customers. Robert is accomplished in product development, product management, international sales and marketing, and business unit leadership. For over 25 years, he has led successful design, planning, and execution of capital investments and engineering projects in specialty chemicals and advanced materials production.

Over his career, Robert has spearheaded sales worth hundreds of millions of dollars by developing teams of developers, sales engineers and front line sales teams to deliver engineered solutions through data driven decision-making and risk management. Prior to his work with Jovian and WorkPacks, Robert served as Head of New Product Introduction at Cygnet-Texkimp, Northwich United Kingdom where he was the Technical Lead for an Oxidation & Carbonization Facility. He was also the Vice President of the Process Systems Division at Harper International in Lancaster, New York, where he identified technical skills and conceived organization structure needed for the company to properly serve design/build carbon fiber full-line business. Robert is also a partner in the Jovian Ventures Group.

Robert has lived and worked in Asia, Europe, South America and the US. Robert graduated from the Northwestern University Technical Institute with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
